Migratory Music

Saturday, Sept. 14 from 2:00 – 4:00 PM
Kalamazoo Nature Center

In partnership with the Kalamazoo Nature Center, we’ll be presenting live music from area artists stationed around the Nature Center. Musicians will include:

  • Selkie – Traditional and original Celtic music, playing at the butterfly garden
  • Birdseed Salesmen – Gypsy jazz, playing in the main amphitheater
  • Members of Bahar Ensemble – Traditional Middle Eastern music, playing on the bridge to the welcome center
  • Norse Code – David and Karin Code sharing Scandinavian traditional folk music, roving the area

In addition to the live music, there will be an art reception for the KNC’s new “Art Drawn From Nature” exhibit celebrating artwork solely by Native American artists.

This event is FREE (donations accepted on-site), and music will be playing from 2:00 – 4:00 PM… feel free to come anytime!
