Josh Holcomb

Join us at the downtown Kalamazoo Public Library for an exploration of meditative sounds and melodies with violinist Josh Holcomb.

Josh improvises on the 5-string violin to create pleasing textures and sonic landscapes. He uses effect pedals to spontaneously create multi-layered pieces transforming the acoustic violin sound into an endless variety of meditative tones. He currently teaches violin, viola, ukulele and mandolin at the Suzuki Academy of Kalamazoo.
